Love Caterina ....like Ava too.
I didn't like any of the boys names. Clarke reminds me of Clark and ellen Griswold ....
and Malachi reminds me of some scary movie I saw once.

Ava, and Callum if I have to choose one on your list. It reminds me of an elf character from a fantasy book, though. I think I'd forever be checking the boy's ears to make sure they aren't elongated.

I say Caterina Ava (as a middle name)or even Ava Caterina.
Now, you gotta think about kids and teasing...
Callum= callumine lotion (I know that's not how to spell Calamine, I wanted you to see what I meant...)
Clarke = Calrke Kent aka Superman
Malachi also reminds me of a movie - but I can't remember which one!
When naming kids, you have to think of the name least likely to get them shoved into lockers ... repeatedly.

Of those, Ava and Callum.
It nagged him, in particular, that none of the girls he’d known so far had given him a sense of unalloyed triumph.
