I'm jumping in!
Decided after a setback with H that it's time to fully concentrate on ME for a change!
Spring is around the corner and I want to look and feel like I used to but I guess I'll "take" my new normal.....sigh.....
So.....started off with the Master Cleanse detox I heard only great reviews about. Absolutely no weight loss only felt bloated and actually GAINED a couple of lbs. How do you gain lbs on only water and lemon juice????
Well at least I tried it!
Now I'm taking the Slimquick Lose 25 lbs challenge again. Hopefully it will work! I want to lose at least 10 lbs.....let's see what happens!
Good luck to all of us!!!

144.4 again today. Holding pretty much steady for about a month now.

My brother's wedding in September might be a good motivator. And I'm back in school this week, so no more grazing around the house all evening.

ETA: Oh, but oddly, even though my scale hasn't moved, I did have to go down another hole on my belt this week. That 4 since I started dieting in October now. Most of my clothes are officially baggy. Need to figure out where I'll settle and then go shopping with money I don't have.

Like AJsmom, been sick for two weeks - long term migraine. So no working out until my marathon hike yesterday. Gone up by 1 1b, and I don't think that's muscle.

Am way off target, but tomorrow is a new day of trying.

Maybe a long walk in the Hindu Kush would do it?

I'm on month 3 of preparation for weight loss surgery. I should be ready for surgery in August.

Has anyone else made this decision? How did it work for you? Was there an effect on your marriage?

I think I am secretly wanting to lose weight to I can tell my WH to F... off because my weight is such an issue with him.

That would be such revenge but......

Down 2.4 this week, for a total of -39.6 since 9/2.

I managed to get to the Y twice (Tues and Sat) but had to miss Thurs due to a funeral. I take a combo Body Attack/CXWORX class on Tuesdays. I managed to get through most of it without a problem, though towards the end, I was really having problems breathing. Saturday I did my normal routine without any problems so it appears I'm (hopefully) done with this cold.

With traveling this week, I'm really going to have to be careful to not get too settled into that "vacation" mode. Eating breakfast and watching my drinking will be key.

I still have to take new measurements. Hoping to get that done before I leave for TX.

I'm doing Medifast, so the calorie count is between 800-1000 per day and carbs are between 80-100 (preferably 80-85) per day.

Placing my after vaca order today. I am a 3 year Medifaster. I love it. I lost my weight in 2010 and when I need a 10 or 15 pound quickie I hop on for a few weeks.

I walk pretty religiously 4 miles a day and do strength train several times a week. I do have to slow down a bit when I am medifasting though, but, then dill pickles and powerade zero are my friend for the sodium replacement.

Gaby-if you want to exchange some L&G recipes and ideas let me know.

Awesome NET! I'm a first timer on week 2 and its going really well. I have to force myself not to weigh daily, lol.

I've been walking about 3-4 miles 5-6 days per week for about 2 months before starting MF, so I didnt alter that. I want to add strength in this week. Since I dont feel weak/light headed after my current workouts (with the low calorie count), I'm going to give it a shot.

I'd love to exchange some L&G recipes, though I have to admit my recipes are pretty simple for now. I've been playing more with the MF foods recipes than the L&G recipes.

Let me know if there are any foods in particular you are trying to spice up. I assume you use the MF forum.

notgoneyet, you deserve to be healthy just because you love yourself. You deserve to feel good about yourself (at any size), to be healthy, to feel good physically as well as emotionally. I know it's hard to separate the emotions, but you do deserve this just for you, not as any sort of revenge against your WH, or incentive for him to care for you, etc.

I started doing the C25K program right before DDay; my now-XH laughed at me, told me I was lazy, and said that I would never finish a 5K. Even before dday, but even more so after, I ran out of anger to prove him wrong. It was a strong motivator, but eventually I started running just because I wanted to run, and I liked how running makes me feel. And it's even better this way, because I'm taking care of myself and feeling good - and that feeling good relies on myself, not anyone else.

I know that the prep for those surgeries isn't easy, and I bet you're doing an awesome job, which is great!! I just hope you know that you're worth it just because you're you.

I had to replace my scale's battery, so I can't pull up my old save points to tell where I was last week, but I still know where I am versus my goal -

I'm down 8.5 total with 36.5 to go.

And I have a goal date now, as my 30th class reunion is scheduled for August. Where the heck did all those years go?

I'm still the same. I went to Zumba twice last week and I'm drinking less pop. Still ordering water when I go out to eat. Thinking about getting some diet pop. Slow and steady... I tried a new Jillian Michael's video yesterday, 30 day shred. I might do it again tonight after the kids are in bed. My arms are sore though!

Motivation - going to visit SO's family down south this summer. SO's cousin is getting married in August. My BFF has dropped like 20 pounds from eating healthier and going to Zumba since last summer... I wanna be smaller like her!! I'm jealous.

I've definitely fallen off the Weight Support Group wagon, but working on getting back on.

I pledged to run a leg of a relay marathon in my hometown in mid-May, so that's gotten me started again on my running. I'm now tracking it. I even ran 3 miles Sat morning in Houston while at the G2G this weekend. LOVE the trees in the Woodlands area of Houston!

30 day shred worked really well for me right before my wedding. I gave up after a month though.

weighed in at 148.2. that's down 3.8 lbs total, so far, and down 1.6 lbs from the last weigh-in I added to MFP on 3/3.

the cold I had last weekend ended up in my chest this weekend, and it's not showing any signs of going away. hopefully I'll stop coughing soon, and feel more like exercising. because I really need to. (nothing like seeing a picture from the backside as motivation... )

I'm up 1.2lbs from last week, but I expected that since I have a "visitor".
I'm still working out 1-2 times per day for at leat 45 minutes.

I feel really good (even if the scale isn't currently moving).
