Since I'm a female just barely under the age of 55, I was required to get a pregnancy test before the surgery I had last week. I tried to tell them about the bus and how I've been riding for... oh... about 3 years now, and that seriously -- barring a true, honest-to-God, call the Vatican, miracle -- there was no reason for the test. At. All. but i had to get it done anyway...

No miracle there

Still on the bus and expect to be for a long, long while

Yay, I'm on the germ-free bus! Technically still married, but no way in hell am I getting on that ride again. I never did like using public facilities.

I have been on this bus for 4 years and 1 month. Any other long timers?

h0peless posted 6/23/2014 14:03 PM

I'm not sure what the exact date of my last pre-bus excursion was, but it'll be two years for me in a couple of weeks.

FaithFool posted 6/23/2014 14:04 PM

Six years and seven days.

BrokenDaisy posted 6/23/2014 14:12 PM

Few days short of two and a half years

MinorBee posted 6/23/2014 21:13 PM

Somewhere around 8 years here.

IrishLass518 posted 6/23/2014 23:05 PM

3 years and 1 month. Damn, that is a long time

Kajem posted 6/23/2014 23:18 PM

Over 2 years here.

worried_lady posted 6/23/2014 23:39 PM

Way too long!!

thebighurt posted 6/24/2014 01:09 AM

About a month shy of three years.

I'm a new rider. Howdy.

brokeninfl posted 6/24/2014 15:16 PM

5 year rider. Someone get me a plaque. I deserve a "reserved" seat.

And pass the margaritas!

7yrsflushed posted 6/24/2014 15:35 PM

A little over a year later and i'm still on the bus. 2 years...pass the bourbon!

LineInTheSand posted 6/25/2014 00:31 AM

Closest I got was with Steve 15 months ago. But he was wiener-withholding. He would do everything BUT that (including things that IMHO should happen MUCH later) because "intercourse changes things."

HOLD UP!!! I'm confused. Wouldn't your "actions" still disqualify you from riding the bus?? Or does it have to be actual intercourse?

Somebody please explain the exact qualifications necessary to ride the bus. Thank you!!

(I might be on the bus sooner than I thought. )

Chrysalis123 posted 6/25/2014 09:11 AM

3 plus years for me.

Softcentre posted 6/25/2014 12:35 PM

Only just over a year for me

luv2swim posted 6/29/2014 02:56 AM

Hmm... riding that bus back seat for what seemed like a very VERY long time.

But now, I have decided that I am no longer a "Bus" rider. I am now driving my own motor home!

I do remain open to the possibility of sharing this global adventure drive with a romantically incline other. However, counting the weeks, months, and finally years of "Bus riding" kind of depresses me. So, I like the thought of being independent. Open to possibilities. And, not missing a second of life by and by. It is a different focus. A zest for full life that is open to opportunities and adventures. BUT, not so focused on my bus seat.

Know what I mean "Bus riders"?

I get it. You want to lead this excursion. The bus and a your friends can follow you to different adventures and party when we arrive. When you find that special someone the party bus will approve, and start taking a different path.

About this motorhome, what's it like? Pics?

I had a pop up for years. I love camping, as long as I'm not sleeping on the ground and have ac.

Hugs,
K
