Been on this bus for a while now......starting to get comfortable but worried I may become part of the furniture! So before anyone sits down make sure it's a seat and not an IgglePiggle! Can we detour around a few microbrewerys?

trying to smile posted 3/31/2016 04:22 AM

I'll slip in beside you IP if that's ok. We'll have a drink, check out the microbreweries and I promise not to let anyone sit on you.

I promise not to let anyone sit on you.
May we all have friends like this.

Compartmented - it's the week after Easter. Everyone knows you drink Bunny Foo Foos the week after Easter!
What?? NO one told me about these!! ::googling furiously:: They sound amazing!

nekorb posted 3/31/2016 13:58 PM

Sure! We will just hit microbreweries all along the route.

Bunny Foo Foo:

Eat ears off of a hollow chocolate Easter bunny. Fill bunny with Kahlua and cream. Drink alcohol and then consume the rest of the bunny!

thebighurt posted 3/31/2016 22:20 PM

I'm in for the Bunny Foo Foos!

4+ years on this #*& bus already, I need something strong!! And I don't care where we go, just take me away!

CryPretty posted 4/1/2016 15:14 PM

Climbing on board. Can I have the seat in the back as I'm coming up on 9 years in June?

Igglepiggle posted 4/1/2016 16:02 PM

Thanks tts!! Feel this bus ride might not be so bad after all.

Bunny foo foo - how have I never heard of this!! Sounds yummy........drive on nekorb

Hawke posted 4/1/2016 17:15 PM

Well, it's been at least 7 months now, so I guess I can bring my duffelbag on board. I am not remotely interested at the moment. Plus, I have two small kids and live with my parents at age 40

TrustGone posted 4/1/2016 23:08 PM

I have been on the bus so long now if I ever get off I might cause the old guy to have a heart attack. Maybe I should get a young guy and work my way up.

mizunomead posted 4/3/2016 20:56 PM

Somehow I have missed this thread. It's been over 8 months for me. So I guess I might as well climb aboard and enjoy the ride. I'm not super picky but a martini sounds good right now

Ziggygal posted 4/4/2016 08:12 AM

Okay... I've been reading this post for a while and decided to post...I definitely belong here. 18 months for me...Pour me a drink..I am going to be here a long, long time!!

TrustGone posted 4/4/2016 08:51 AM

Welcome aboard all newbies. Plenty of the room on the bus for everyone. Not a bad seat or drink in the house. Nekorb is an excellent driver and knows where everything is. Just tell her where you want to go and she will head that direction. Sorry you missed the Bunny Foo Foo drinks, but I think we were going by some microbreweries soon. I forget where else we were going after that, but we always have a great time wherever we are.

nekorb posted 4/4/2016 21:34 PM

Thank you, TrustGone, for issuing the welcomes!

Yes, we are currently hitting some microbreweries on our way to Washington DC for the cherry blossoms.

Any other requests for stops or side tours are welcome.

I've been thinking of adding a second "car" to the bus...kind of like a train...so that we could have a lounge area besides our seats with a bar and a grill. I wouldn't mind a table for cards, maybe a jigsaw puzzle or two....Thoughts?

I'd add another level to our current bus, but with the reading room up top, I think we'd get too top heavy.

FaithFool posted 4/5/2016 11:18 AM

I vote bar car.

Hawke posted 4/5/2016 12:31 PM

So, this is some kind of luxury bus, not your average Greyhound. Is it catered, or do we stop for meals?

Compartmented posted 4/5/2016 21:28 PM

Martinis until we get to the next brewery:
Nekorb, I really like the idea of a lounge area. Jigsaw puzzles would be fun....slow on the curves though, so we don't lose all the pieces!!

mizunomead posted 4/6/2016 21:13 PM

Yes!!! Lol. Thanks for the martinis, and I am good with the microbrewies also

woundedwidow posted 4/7/2016 11:50 AM

At this point, I've been on the bus so long I not only own it, I'm on my way to an entire fleet of buses as well. I wonder if I could lease them out?

trying to smile posted 4/25/2016 05:27 AM

Well my friends, after almost 2 years aboard I have now disembarked.

Enjoy the microbreweries and Bunny Foo Foos gang.

Keep Smiling

Looks like I will be on the bus a while longer and I can't drink the bunny foo foo's or enjoy the brewery. Damn!!! I am glad you stepped off. Hopefully you never have to get back on.
