This morning I did a mud run. It was a lot nicer than it was last year. Last year was soooooo hot.
Here I am all nice a clean before the run.
Now I'm entering the mud pit. The mud was really think and gooey.
Almost to the finish line so I decided to stand up.
But the mud had other ideas. I ended up getting stuck.
Finally crossing the finish line.
Next weekend is the Warrior Dash. I may have to go by myself becuase DSS has a piano thing the same day. I'm still looking for someone to keep me company.
I had a really good time with this run. I can't wait to do again next year! Married a truly wonderful and loving man Sept. 19, 2010. Not only survived, but thrived.

Good Grief! I can't imagine the clean up after.
Yet it looks fun.
Mud is just fun to mess in. But, man, you were a mess.
I assume you were subsequently wrapped in cling wrap, strapped to the roof of the car, and later hosed off in the backyard before being allowed in the house.
That's just the way my mind works. Sorry. Posts: 2760 | Registered: Jul 2008 | From: IA |

How do you get home without ruining your car? "No girl who plays the role of the hero dates a guy who uses her. She knows who she is; she just forgot for a little while." -my awesome pastor | I edit to correct my iPad's "corrections" Posts: 11207 | Registered: Jul 2011 | From: Washington, DC |

They had extremely cold showers there so I rinsed off and then came home and took a proper shower.
I did have to rinse my shoes off in the backyard though. they were full of mud. Married a truly wonderful and loving man Sept. 19, 2010. Not only survived, but thrived.

I wouldn't believe it if it wasn't for the look on your face in the picture where you are stuck, but it looks like you were having fun.
Getting home from something like this, I finally understand a reason for people in the city to own pickups. You would be riding home in the box. Maybe with a stop at the car wash. Your mileage may vary... in accordance with the prophecy.

You'd be surprised where mud can get into when you do a run like this.
It took me 5 minutes to dig it out of my ear. Married a truly wonderful and loving man Sept. 19, 2010. Not only survived, but thrived.
