I went to Atlanta this weekend with one of my best girl friends. We had a great time. A lot of fun hanging out. But! Saturday night we decided to go dancing. I was a bit apprehensive- didnt know if I was ready for that. But off we go. And I'm so glad. It did wonders for my self confidence!! I had several guys ask me to dance. It was so much fun. One of them- who was just 27!!!- actually kissed me. And I let him. :) it was really pretty nice. The first person I've kissed besides xh in 19 years. It was just nice to think someone found me attractive and wanted to be around me. After Dday, my self worth plummeted and I felt ugly and unlovable. It's been getting better lately and I know I should not need others acceptance to feel good, but it DOES feel good to feel attractive to someone. So that's all! I kissed a stranger and I liked it.

Survivor, I know exactly how you feel. It IS pretty nice isn't it!! You let yourself feel attractive and it showed. Someone took notice and the rest is history. Oh and that first kiss after soooo long. I bet you had all kinds of fireworks going on inside of you! Enjoy it!
