hey guys. Checking in. I started Atkins again - day 9 of induction and I'm down 6 lbs. I'm happy.
I'm tracking every single thing, including allocating my points in the morning for my wine in the evening
That's my girl!
I knew I'd do you justice!
You know it's kind of bad when you can't remember your WW user ID.
Said a friend.
Thank goodness for that Forgot Username feature
I haven't gone for my morning power walk for almost two weeks. I don't know why I suddenly stopped when I've been doing it for months now
It's so dark in the mornings, so I'll wait until the time change this weekend and start back up
Well, I had a nice rebound loss this week - down 3.6 pounds from my last weigh-in. I really stuck to plan, tracked EVERYTHING (the good, the bad and the very ugly) and I'm pleased, especially seeing my church had their annual international missions festival and I ate really naught food twice last week.
Iím hurting like a you-know-what this morning. Did Body Attack and Body Pump right after yesterday and I think it was a wee bit much one right after the other. I havenít taken BP since February and take BA three times a week, so I thought it would be a snap.
Good Golly, Miss Molly Ė even my fingernails hurt!

AJ...I'm glad your weigh in was a good one, that's always encouraging!!!
Do you weigh yourself every day? I do but my official weigh in is on Thursdays. As of right now, I'm down 6.5 pounds since Oct 25th...I figure that's a good steady loss...not too fast and not too slow. That leaves me with 5 pounds left.
I feel much more in control of making good decisions and also being able to splurge now and then
Okay...so the splurging on two KitKat's yesterday did me no favors
I don't weigh myself everyday. It's counterproductive for me as I then obsess about it. With me I either reduce my eating (never smart) or I say "F-it" and binge.
I just cross my fingers every time I walk into our meeting. I do weigh in on the same scale and wear the same clothes though, which makes the WW leaders ...oh well, it works for me!
At my doctor's they always subtract 2 pounds for clothes - not the case there.
I think I joined this club at the beginning of this year, but fell off the wagon really quickly, and just didnt' give-a-shit.
Last week my DD and I joined the online WW's. I HATE counting anything (unless it's M&M's ).
She is my motivator, and motivation.
My weigh-in day is Wed, and I lost 3!!
I am tracking everything! And found it's actually kind of fun.
I have been circuit training for 8 yrs so the exercise is not the same as if I just started. Altho I have added MORE cardio LOVE those extra point days!!
So hopefully you all will let me back in?????
That's great, still2suspicious!
I weigh in on Sundays. I am eating healthy about 95% of the time. I still have no desire to exercise. I just can't find the motivation. Aggghh.
woot! I'm down a few pounds. I don't remember, and I'm too lazy this morning to go find it, what my weight was the last time I posted it here. But I'm under 150 lbs this morning. Just barely, 149.6 lbs, but I'm good with that. I'd much rather see slow downward movement on the scale than the upward trend I've been having.
Apparently it makes a huge difference that I can't eat at my desk at my new job. And, I also have farther to walk to get to the office. Last job, I parked pretty much right outside the front door. This job, I'm parking on the 1st level in the garage, and the office is on the 6th floor. The walkway is on the 3rd floor, so I've been taking the stairs to and from that, then walking to the building, then taking the elevator the rest of the way.
There's a gym I can use for free in the building, and a walking path that leads off somewhere. I haven't explored either of those yet. My boss works out during lunch, and he goes to lunch the same time I do. I'm not too comfortable with the idea of working out in front of him, but eventually I think I'll see how crowded the gym is after work. As soon as I figure out some more portable lunches, I want to see where the walking path goes.
YEAH for S2S!! **clapping for myself**
I am down 2.5 for this last week. 5.5 for 2 weeks is so great for me. DD is also down 5!
I'm grudgingly getting the hang of tracking. Love the scanner app!
This week my goal is to start using up all the exercise points I get. Still ramping up the cardio too. It seemed counterp-productive to ADD pts every day, but I can now have chocolate!!
I only lost about 1/2 lb this week but it means I'm still under 150 so again, I'm good with that.
it's amazing what not being able to snack at my desk does.
Ooops...forgot to update for a bit here.
Two weeks ago, I went up .4 but ended up losing 1.6 at this week's weigh-in, so I'm back to happy.
We did the very interesting Thanksgiving Day exercise of what you plan to eat that day in our meeting Sunday. A true eye-opener!
Let's just say, I'll use all of that day's points and most of my extras for the week given my plans with friends.
But I'm not going to obsess...it's one day in the whole year. That said, the holidays are always challenging for me with parties and such. I'm really going to try hard not to overdo things!
Can I join too? I got a fitbit for our anniversary (July 16), and started walking a LOT and taking stairs. A week later, I started Zumba. I'm now 25 pounds lighter, and down 2 sizes. I count calories. I'm 1/4 of the way to my goal weight.
Last Friday I tried out a bootcamp workout class. My abs are still feeling it.
Great job...that's awesome!! I'm sure you feel really good too
I weighed in this morning and I'm done 8lbs...4 more to go
Are new people welcome? @ my DD I was probably @ my best weight ~130 lbs & very quickly dropped 20 lbs. My WH & I are trying to R but I have been diagnosed with Cushing's syndrome & have gained lots of weight in the past 6-9 months:( I now weigh what I did when I was 9 months pregnant ~ 160 lbs:( Help?? Jamie
Of course you're welcome to join us!!
Went down just a wee bit - .2 last week, but it's a loss and I'll take it.
I'm really hoping this week isn't a program blower. I'm trying to think ahead as to how to enjoy the holiday and not derail my goal. I'm *thisclose* to setting a pretty big milestone.
We did an exercise in WW last week which had us take what we thought we might eat for Thanksgiving and total the points up. If I stick with what I thought I'd eat, I'll use up the entire day's points just on food. But then there's the wine...
Still, I've vowed to really watch portions and snacking and to enjoy myself without beating myself up at the end of the day. So not worth that.
Fortunately, where I'm headed there will be no appetizers (thank you, early starting football games) and that will really help as I'm a bit of a nosher.
Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!
Decided to chime in here, because there's no such thing as too much support in this life.
JM and I began a weight loss program last week. It's a clinic with nutritional counseling, lab work, optional injections (B vitamins, and some fat burning amino acids or something.) and phentermine. We also bought an elliptical trainer for the house.
We are both at very close to our heaviest weights. Both at high risk for type 2 diabetes. So we started this program. His goal is to lose 49 lbs. I need to lose at least 65.
Weigh in was Monday. He went before I did and texted that he had lost 9.2 lbs. I was freaking out and worried that I would not have lost anything, but when I went, I lost 5 lbs. It's very exciting and motivating to see the results.
The nutritional plan is low carb and high protein as much as possible. Not really as drastic as Atkins, so I'm more likely to stick with it than Atkins.
So, that's my weight story. Look forward to hanging out here with y'all.
