Ok, i'm posting this in complete honesty here, it was the type of dream that was too vivid not to remember and too weird not to share..

I had a strange, kinda erotic dream last night.

I was at a church (maybe my temple from childhood) attending an event with lots of adults my age. It turns out it was an orgy of some sort. Everybody paired off and went downstairs to these large rooms and i followed. Turns out that before the orgy they had to go through some sort of sermon about the rapture or somethingorother. Once that was out of the way everyone was allowed to get naked and have a good time. It was almost school-like, as if they were being taught. It wasn't a big crazy thing like the Romans used to do, it was more like a bunch of couples making love in the same room. All one on one.

The sad part is that i was the only one without a partner. Everyone else, no matter how attractive or how unlikely they were to have a partner, had one. I was left to wander around, feeling ashamed for not being able to participate because no one wanted to be with me. Eventually i found two women in a side room, jackpot! Turns out that a) they weren't there for the party, and b) they were already "partners" anyway.

The dream kinda ended there as the story shifted to something else completely unrelated, me and my friends were children again and we had discovered a sunken pirate treasure buried in a cave under a cornfield. We found the treasure with the help of a magical compass and lantern and were able to bluff our way past the ancient sea lions that guarded it, much to the chagrin of an older pirate-queen who was after the same treasure.

I swear i don't do drugs, although my zoloft prescription starts today..

Sooooo... yeah. fun, right? Pretty sure the first dream is all about the A and how i feel, but the second? I used to get vivid dreams like the frequently when i was younger, glad to see i can still surprise myself sometimes.

Well, I'm no dream expert but the first sounds like how you are bummed about the A and being "rejected." I think the second was showing you that you can still have fun and explore... that there is still good stuff ahead.... or you should think about going into pirating... AARRGGHH!

From the dream dictionary -

To see a pirate in your dream signifies that some person or situation is adding chaos to your emotional life. You feel that someone has violated your integrity or creativity. Alternatively, the pirate may symbolize freedom, risk, and adventure. You want to explore new adventures and take riskier ventures.

To see a treasure chest in your dream represents your hidden talents. It also refers to a sense of security and belonging. You are content with where you are in a situation or relationship.

To dream that you are looking inside the treasure chest suggests that you are trying to recapture something valuable from your past.

I'm sure you'll forgive me not searching for the meaning of your first dream. I think the network police would be on me like white on rice.

Whoops! I was just sharing my dream experience for a laugh and leave it all open for interpretation. Not trying to get anyone in trouble here.

Anything in that dream dictionary explain the sea lions? They were two VERY old animals and looked to be protecting the treasure for ages. They liked me though, don't quite remember what it was that made me special, maybe the magical compass i had? Cornfields and underwater caves significant?

I think the meaning from the first dream is pretty easy to determine, it's the immediate follow-up dream that was most bizzarre and has me puzzled..
