At 5pm tonight XWH and I have an appointment to have our taxes done (nothing like waiting until the last minute eh?). We owed last year and I'm positive we'll owe again this year. Last year we got into a big fight about it because he blamed me (changing jobs and states messed up my witholdings). This is the last bit of "business" we have to attend to as a marital unit.

Ugh, I'm dreading it.

(((HUGS))) to you Chika. I too am dreading doing taxes with SAWH. He also likes to blame me for any financial issues. It's especially easy for him since I handle the money and the taxes.

Sending you strength. You can get through this.

If Happy Ever After did exist, I would still be holding you like this.

^^^That's wonderful!!!

I get horrible stomachache whenever I have to be in the same room as my STBX, so I understand your dread.

Just think...you don't have to legally deal with him after this, AND the best part of it is knowing that you can walk away if he tries to start a fight since he's not your problem anymore

I'll be sure to have a glass of wine for you tonight!

Ugh, I feel for you. I totally ignore STBX at dropoffs, don't even look in his direction, and sitting in the same room in mediation was hell for me..

At least you guys are filing jointly for the deductions I imagine. My dipshit of a husband filed and claimed the kids on his own without telling me. IRS said I'm the one who gets to claim them, so hope he enjoys his tax audit..

Hope things go quickly and calmly for you..
