I can't say for certain that he physically cheated on me, but numerous times caught him online, texting, calling other girls whom he sought out online.
We were together all the time so I don't believe that he actually slept with anyone (but again not 100%).
He was my best friend. We did everything together, talked about marriage, kids, had a dog together.
It really does feel like a death.
He moved back home (many miles away) so it's impossible to even see him right now. He has told me that he's remorseful, but hasn't fought to win me back. When I asked him why he hasn't tried he said because he thought he messed up so badly there was nothing to fix it.
I don't know that he will ever not cheat again, but maybe he wouldn't? How many times is too much to be too far gone to fix.
To be clear, I found him doing online about 3 times over the course of 6 years... We went to counselling as well which seemed to work for a while.

You are the only one that can determine what is to much. This is your life and you are in charge of it.

I am sorry you are going through this. Being here is a good step towards healing and figuring out what you are going to do.
