Frustrated  Posted: 7:08 PM, May 4th (Saturday), 2013View ProfileEdit MessagePrivate MessageHomepage

I'm preparing for a very large reception on Monday night.

I worked today--all day--in the office because my coworker insisted that I needed help from her son and his friend. They are 20 and 23. Evidently, they've never met the alphabet and can't follow very explicit instructions

I could have done this at home tonight, in front of the TV, and I could have enjoyed my Saturday. You live and learn

I solemnly swear that I am up to no good.

This reminds me of Tommy Lee Jones' line in U.S. Marshals when he says, "We actually work better when we don't have, um, help."

Oh, and the best part...they're coming back to help me on Monday night

The coworker's son has worked this event before. He was telling his friend about how good the fool smells...

I think I'm in for a very long night.

I'm laughing - and sorry for the stress.

Crazz was JUST talking about working with early 20somethings tonight. I believe his exact words were, "OMG just SHUT UP and do your JOB!!!" (Cause he's at the ripe old age of 32 )

That's very telling!

Good luck Monday night!

It's rather amazing how the human male changes perspective drastically from early 20s to early 30s.
