I do that, but sometimes I just need some "me" time. I never leave the condo by myself and because of their fighting I always make sure that I'm around for my kids.
I do feel like I'm play both the "mom" and "dad" roles. When my son was in T-ball I went and bought him his athletic supporter, otherwise he wouldn't have been allowed to play the catcher position. I don't know how to by those things! To this day I don't know if it's the right kind/size/fit. I can handle ballet and tap shoes But I did it. My husband never offered to pick it up, never asked if needed help, nothing. He never said a word.
That's the thing. He won't change. He says he's a stronger version of himself. He likes this "new and improved" him.
I wish you could meet him IRL. He's such a love and a character. He bends over backwards to help me and his grandmother (my mother) and he's even wanted to go around to our neighbors and offer to clean their condos to bring in extra money. Does that sound like a kid that doesn't listen?
Ugh, I'm going to cry now. He doesn't deserve any of this.
Right about now, I have no objection to your offer Me - BS, 39 (I'm not old...I'm vintage)
