Sorry you guys, I write poetry when I am sad and it makes me feel better to share them. If you feel like reading it, thanks.
It still seems unreal
This life that I now lead
They both came along
And broke it
Together
And now I sit
Crying
My heart in shreds
And wonder
Is this really my life?
A husband who stabbed me?
A ‘friend’ who danced in delight
While she ripped out my heart?
Is that what I engender
In people who ‘love’ me?
How do I smile?
How do I laugh?
With my heart on the floor?
Can’t it just be over?
I’m tired
And I don’t want to hurt any longer

DS, you are forever in my heart. Thank you for sharing your beautiful spirit with me. I will always try to live by the example you have set. I love you and miss you every day and am sorry you had to go so soon, it just doesn't seem fair.
