Hi, Everyone,
This may belong in the Investigative forum, but I do not have premium access.
I have received a vaguely threatening text message alluding to my situation with my wife's infidelity. The person obviously knows my name, my wife's name, and our infidelity situation. I asked my wife about this and she has no idea. (I believe her.)
I have tried tracing the call through a few reverse lookups but with no luck. I am hesistant to pay any of these services. Are there any reputable ones?
Any advice? Just call the police? This is very alarming. I can't believe this has sunk into Jerry Springer shit.
Thank you

Hi, Abbondad. Sorry to hear about this. If it is threatening in any way, I think you should report it to the police, yes. How awful for you.

Do you want me to tell you something really subversive? Love is everything it's cracked up to be. That's why people are so cynical about it.

I've found Spokeo to be the most effective search for phone numbers.
