It started out to be a rough night...hubby had a choice of working at cOW's bar for 45 minutes near the end of the night (she typically leaves work early so he probably would've avoided her) or cover the bartenders dinner breaks - for 2 hours and in the middle of her shift where she'll most likely be.

He called me to tell me his choice. He chose wrong. I broke down on the phone, he promised he would work the other side of the bar and avoid all contact. I asked why would he choose that shift? And he said he could make an extra $75 to $100 there....I said - good - you might need it for the D lawyer. It was just a vent. But the thought of having to endure this every Friday and Saturday night indefinitely was overwhelming - and I took an Ativan to cope. He texted me throughout and all went well (NC).

When he left that bar, he texted me:

"I was going to wait to tell you this..."

Ugh - what now? I'm thinking to myself...

The next text said:

"but she's TRANSFERRED OUT!!!"

Another waitress told my H that she's now stewarding in the outlet restaurants. They have nothing to do with the floor bars, it's a completely different department - she found out she got the position tonight!!!

It starts in 2-3 weeks...I am sooo relieved!! Just hoping she doesn't embark on any last minute hail Mary fishing attempts!

Is it possible that I'm actually catching a break here?
