My unborn baby has teeth- yeah they're in the gums but... TEETH!!!!

The time has begun for freaking out the Mrs- *nibble nibble nibble*

He/she is about the length of a pen too- We don't know boy/girl yet- we can't decide if we want a surprise!!

It's crazy right? I remember seeing the x-rays of my kids' teeth. They had the adult teeth right there, under the baby teeth.

Another weird one- eyeballs are over half the size they will be as adults. That's why babies have such big, cute eyes.

And if it's a girl, she'll be born with all the eggs she'll release in life. So technically, when I was carrying DD- I was carrying the start to any potential (biological) grandchild.

Yeah haha the adult teeth are 'buds' right now- weird!!

How's this for a convo after the teeth talk:

DD4: "How will we feed the baby"
Wife: "The baby eats what I eat"
DD4: "But what if they get hungry and you haven't eaten?"
Wife: "That doesn't happen"
DD4: "Will the baby start biting you"
The Mrs looked at me: "This is your fault!! The baby doesn't bite"
DD4: "We just want to make sure you're alright and not getting bitten"

The Mrs is well freaked out today

I don't know if I want to know if it's a boy or girl... It's difficult!!

I love littles.

People make me laugh with this. You will be surprised to find it is a boy or girl? Did you think maybe it would be a puppy? It is either a boy or girl, not very surprising. And, you can be "surprised" at the time of the actual birth or "surprised" anytime after the doctor is able to determine the sex. I really don't understand this "surprise" people speak of.

Haha yeah I know what you mean- I'd definitely be surprised if it wasn't a boy or girl!! It's a bit like that when you get your Mrs up the duff- I announced it on facebook quite recently and got loads of "congrats on the sex mate" and "wow she really let you do 'that' again" along with the obligatory "didn't think you had it in ya!" - because what really am I being congratulated for? Unprotected sex? haha I'm just messing!!

It's sort of nice when they're born to be like IT'S A GIRL or IT'S A BOY though... then again- when you don't know everything you get off people is white or yellow or beige... oh but can I handle the pink/blue rush... I don't know.

I just know I'm excited and my daughter thinks the baby's going to bite their way out... ha

Congrats, I85, but really, my point is, you can be "surprised" now or wait until the birth. It is just a matter of delaying the "surprise". I personally liked knowing in advance.

When we had our first child that wasn't a possibility. They didn't do that then. However, with the next two it was. I was very happy to know in advance the sex of the child.

Yeah I get you

We knew with my little girl but my little boy was a surprise on the day- it was funny because all the old girls were guessing like- "do you prefer sweet or savoury... That mean's it's a boy!" it was good fun. We don't mind- our requirement is- healthy Oh and if it's ugly it's going back of course

To delay or not to delay, that is the question.

I remember when I was younger I'd have said I wanted boys- you know to be like me- but then once I had a little girl- oh my days!! She melts my heart mate.

I have a little picture of the new baby and I can literally only make out the head- the woman was like "this is the arm, and the leg" I'm like "oh yeah"- didn't have a clue.

Yeah, I wasn't good with those pictures either. For the longest time I thought my DS's cord was his penis. It was huge. Showed DH, he was very proud. Oops!
