yes, the drama occasionally sucks, but the stealing restaurant leftovers that are to be my lunch the next day is really the worst! I'm going to try writing "NO" on them also! You guys are so creative...

her stealing is the only problem I have with her.

It is amazing what a locked door will do.

Oh yes. I have two teenage daughters and a teenage son. All the drama and pilfering occurs from my daughters. From my daughters I get drama and sneakiness. My son is very transparent and straightforward. If they were all like him it would be easy. I think teenagers drive us crazy so we are eager to see them on their own. When they were little, I couldn't imagine ever having them move out. Sometimes now I fantasize about it.

I really don't think it's a daughter thing, it depends on the kid.

DD was never about the drama. She wanted to borrow something, she'd ask. She's upset, we talk.

DS....now, you want to talk about drama??? He's the king.

funny how sometimes the stereotypes skew...my daughter has drama because her dad is the only male drama queen I know. I swear, she totally gets it from him. My son is also straightforward and transparent, different father.....hmmmmm...

Soooo what you're saying is, if my three-year-old already takes my stuff, it's not going to get better?

We're both in our 30s. One awesome 4-year-old daughter.

And I enjoy having a girl's opinion on things. We had a party yesterday and she helped me with my outfit! I wound up wearing one of her blouses .

I have three daughters and if I wanted to keep anything away from them I just stored it with the cleaning supplies and the vacuum sweeper. Problem solved.

meaniemouse- that is hilarious! and would probably work really amazingly....as well as hiding my lunch under the kale in the veggie drawer..... She did try to help with the yard the other day (first time ever) and it took her 15 minutes to figure how to turn on the electric weedeater. as we say here in Tenn....bless her heart!

What did she want?
I love my 16 yr old dd to pieces but if she cleans something without being asked there is a request coming. It's so transparent that it actually makes me laugh.

very funny..but true. I was mad at her for the stealing thing so this was appeasement for that...and really, now that I think on it, the hiding behind cleaning stuff wouldn't work because the thefts are so random, everything I own would b in the broom closet

I think if my DS steals my eyelash curler. I would have bigger worries

BTW I found the greatest curler, it is heated and does a fantastic job with no pinching!!
