I've been living by this mantra since my first d-day in 2008. It was necessary in the beginning, thinking "I just need to make it through today."
But that survival technique has seemed to depress me. How is that living...just making it through the day?
I called over a week ago to make an appointment with a psychiatrist. I need meds, and I know it.
The first appointment...August 2nd. I took it, but asked to be added to their "cancel list" as well so that I might be moved up a little earlier.
