Does anyone know if Tupperware has BPA in it? I have tried to do some research on my own and I haven't really found anything that is clear to me.

I am particularly interested in the childrens cups from at least 20 years ago, cereal bowls that are probably close to 20 years old and just Tupperware in general from over 20 years ago.

From their site -
As of March 2010, items sold by Tupperware US & CA are BPA free.

Based on that, I would suspect there was BPA before that date.

Wow! I looked on their site and didn't see that at all. I kept getting stuff like I had to check some kind of serial #'s.

Thanks, nowiknow23. You are amazing!

Is anyone else concerned about their Tupperware and BPA's? I have been using it all my life, should I stop now, or does it even matter at this point? How about my one kiddo still at home? I won't let my grandchildren use the stuff, but is it pointless now to stop my DS17 using it now?

Are you using it in the microwave?

And are you saying you have 20-year-old stuff or are you just referring to things used in the past?

I never put Tupperware in the microwave, even the pieces that said "microwavesafe for heating".

Oh, yeah, Faithfool, I have Tupperware from when I was first married, over 30 years ago.

Wow, that's old! Have you considered donating it to a museum?
