I had a delicious onion soup, and crisply fried and lightly salted potatoes with sour cream.

Okay I had a big bag of chips and a tub of dip I made.

I had the most delicate, lightly salted and buttered, fluffed corn kernels. Scrumptious.

I had havarti on Triscuits, accompanied by steamed broccoli and cauliflower.

Dessert was a handful of kettle corn.

Sorry unagie - I'm not raising the bar here.

Okay, you crazies, I actually cooked yesterday! I made garlic shoots with chicken the way my aiyi taught me to make garlic shoots with pork (I didn't have any pork...freezer fail). It was delicious!

And then I stumbled across a box of girl scout cookies (samosas) that somehow got lost in my cupboard. So I ate 2/3 of the box for dessert.

I worked at a reception for Canada Day last night and got some fake poutine and a few carrot sticks. I had to beg someone to get me a glass of water.

So much for the glamour of working with diplomats...

I had the tandoori platter at my local Indian resto. It was yummy with three sauces and basmati. I took half of it home and the S/O devoured it when he got home from work.

Normally I don't look at these thread but because aesir started it I was curious to see what he'd bought at the local gas station.
