I just have a feeling that exWH is not going to be able to resist the full court press that the slunt and her kids are putting on to essentially beg for a proposal. I don't know when it would be coming, but want to be prepared.
I've been thinking of two responses in the event that I get the text.
One part of me just wants to say "I hope you both get exactly what you deserve from that marriage."
Another part of me wants to say nothing moe than "hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha"
What say my SI friends? Any preference? Any other suggestions?
BW - me
ExWH - "that one"

Well, I'm partial to, "I wish you both all the happiness you deserve."
But then again, crickets seems best.

Crickets, but maybe something like, "Let me know when you need a divorce lawyer as I happen to know a good one."

Absolutely 100% crickets. That's what everyone here advised me to do when XWH told me about his impending nuptials. I'm so glad that I did because I think it's set the tone for the future. I don't think it's my imagination, but XWH does everything that he can to avoid me lately, and he's made it clear that he wants to keep me and Owife apart. That suits me just fine. Anything you say will be twisted and used against you. If you're completely silent on the subject, you don't give him any ammunition, and you continue to deal with him in as classy a way as possible.
Believe me, I wanted to write, "Have you lost your mind completely?" That would have just amped up the drama and helped XWH to paint me as the horrid wife he had to have an A to escape from.
Besides... beg for a proposal? Does it get any more pathetic than that?

Another vote for crickets.
I predict several engagements and marriages for the sad clown. I predict crickets from me each and every time. I know just what kind of husband he is - they don't, oh but they will.
