So being only a few weeks out of DDay, I awoke this morning with a strage calm and sense that everything was ok.
I was wondering if this is a false calm, or I have somehow come to peace that it has happened?
Anybody else have this happen?

I remember some days of calmness, but they were usually followed by some rough days. All part of the roller coaster ride I took in dealing with this. So while I can't say if your calm is a false calm or not, I can tell you to enjoy the day.
Think of the haters in your life as sandpaper; they’ll scratch you up time and time again but in the end you’re polished, smooth, and spotless..while they end up useless

Be wary of moments of peace. I'm 31 days out from d-day and the few times I've felt peace have proven to be the calm before the storm every time. I'm hoping it's not the same for you.

The thing is, the storm is coming whether you enjoy the day of peace or not, so you might as well enjoy it.
We all need breaks from the intensity of the early days. Because the calm may be just a lull in the storm, it's a good idea to relax while you can.

Embrace the peace while you have it, orangecrushed. Rest your heart and mind. ((((hugs))))
