I really want to see the Conjurig... but I would have to go alone. I also live alone.

Should I risk it?

yes

of course, this is if on your way home you stop and get a priest, witchdoctor, exorcist, rabbi and shaman to spend the next week with you

dd saw this and said it's the scariest movie she's ever seen... and she's a scary movie frequenter.

Oh god the grudge gave me nightmares, especially the scene where she comes down the stairs backwards....

Mind you I still watch scary movies...I might skip this one.

How vivid is your imagination, hurtbs? Do you carry the movies with you afterward?

I won't watch scary movies unless I can control them and pause. So when I watch them, it's on NetFlix or DVD. Oh - and I also only watch them in the morning.

The Conjuring was FANTASTIC. It's kind of old school. It reminded me of movies like the original Amityville. Good scares, but not too many. Great feelings of suspense. I did scream a couple of times. I am fun to see scary movies with, LOL.

I didn't have a problem getting to sleep after I saw it. There have been movies in the past where I did have trouble, especially when I lived alone.

For me, if a scary movie costs me a night's sleep then I know it was a good one.

Keep calm and carry on.

If you really like scary movies, why not?

Me, no way am I EVER seeing that movie.

My dd said the same exact thing.

She texted me when she was leaving the theater to ask me if I was up. I said, "Of course not, it's midnight, why?" and she said, "Because I don't want to be alone when I get home!"

If you like being scared, I say do it.

If you like being REALLY scared, I say wait for it to come out on video, THEN watch it at home, alone, in the dark!

(Disclaimer: I like being REALLY scared. Like, "OMG, I can't even sleep because I know there are zombies in the yard!!!: scared )

H and I saw this movie just last night at the drive in (yes, there are still some around). It was a good movie. As for seeing it alone, idk. Maybe bring a teddy bear if you *have* to grab something?

I wouldn't. If you really want to see it, maybe go during the early afternoon, when it's bright out. Then go home and watch some upbeat, silly movie. Hopefully, it will counteract any nightmares.

I'm still scared of the clown from It.

I saw the Wolverine instead.

This is one of the bummers about living alone. I'm always fine until night time when I'm taking the dogs out and such.

Hand I saw Wooverine too, even though they were on different screens. Fortunately we had a few minutes to get turned around and retune our radio. The end left it wide open for another X-Men movie.

We went to see The Conjuring.

It was terrifying!

What gets me, is that it's based on a true story. Ed and Lorraine Warren have seen some shit!

The effects in this movie were amazing.

I saw it saturday and have not slept easily since.

Lorraine Warren is still working (for those that don't know)..she pops up on Paranormal State on Bio whenever they get a case that they think involves an inhuman spirit.

She's still fiesty.
