I kind of like to know what time it is when I wake up in the middle of the night (otherwise I'll "wonder" what time it is).

But, instead of raising my head off the pillow to look at the nightstand, I just look at my ceiling, as my alarm clock has a projection feature.

I take a prescription sleeping pill. Probably soon I should try to wean off of them.

OTC's are not as strong, but are good in a pinch if other options don't work out.

I like the white noise...esp. rain drops.

Good witch please get a sleep study the snoring and the fact she thought you stopped breathing are very indicative of sleep apnea. This can cause all kinda of health problems including high blood pressure abnormal heart rates and daytime somnolence.

All of which a CPAP machine can fix. If you wake up and are still tired that's a very concerning thing. If you have restless sleep that's a big red flag. Talk to your dr.

I have always been a terrible sleeper...I sleep "light" and don't require but 6-7 hours. Once ex moved out, I admit that I need help sleeping.

I take a tiny "nip" of Z Quil every night to help me sleep. I love my bedroom, and I have a tv set for 30 minutes and I usually fall asleep, but I wake up several times during the night. Usually over a hot flash (night sweat) or I've heard a noise. Even with ZQuil, I don't know the last time I actually slept through the night without waking.
