for you sequential order people... My youngest was born 11-11-11 at 10:10 pm. And no, it wasn't planned that way :) My secret "get excited over" is house shopping. I will spend hours tracking down my dream home in the area we want to move to. We aren't moving for 3-5 years!

I originally joined SI as a way to help my best friends find ways of coping with infidelity, but now infidelity has touched my family much closer to home.

My ds was born at 1:26am. Dd was born 6:26pm. 26 must be significant lol

I always try to see how many times I can going through the numbers on the digital eight. I think twelve was my record. Of course this is always something I do when I can't sleep and am staring at the clock

I'm another office supply geek. I get to purchase for a department of 15 and it makes me happy every time!

Clean sheets. Maybe that's not so strange. After all, who doesn't like clean sheets ?!?

I really like to get mail. Not that I like bills but any mail is good mail to me. I think it's from when I was stationed overseas a million years ago before cell phones and email (well, civilian email anyway).

The numbers thing - all three of my kids were born on the 30th, but in different months. No, not caesarean either. The other weird part is that two are not my birth children, but they are mine in every other way. Fate.

I SOOO hear you about the vacuum cleaner.

I love cleaning full-stop, not just the rage cleaning. I clean when I'm happy too.

There's nothing better than a spick-and-span home environment.

I can't stand for the girls toys (animals or dolls) to look 'uncomfortable' so when they go to bed everything gets put away 'comfy'. .

I love the symmetry of numbers too.

My girls were born 2/2 and 9/9 - both after 2.5 hours at the Birth Centre.

I see patterns in numbers several times a day and it always makes me smile. The number patterns I notice are always related to happy things. It makes me happy!

Buzz- The word you are searching for is 'Space-Ranger.'
Woody- The word I'm searching for, I can't say, because there are Pre-school toys here.

Hahahaha! I get it completely.

I bought a new toilet. It was delivered the other day and I'll be installing it tomorrow.

Yes, I'm excited about it! I've been slowly remodeling my bathroom. This is one more step toward the finish line.

I totally get the toilet!!!

At the IL's the toilet didn't flush. Had to use a bucket... Apparently they still do.

Can't tell you how nice it is to have a working toilet. And a shower that sprays harder than a dribble

I love vacuum cleaners as well. My late H always said I was the only woman he knew who would be happy getting a new vac for Mother's Day - and he gave me one too! I vacuum daily, not just to get the house clean (heck, with 5 cats I just can't stand to have fur or tracked litter anywhere), but it also actually relaxes me. I used to refer to it as putting my house in order when I'd come home from work and needed to de-stress.

Be careful what you wish for the most - you may get it.

I'm accepting reservations for anyone that needs to de-stress at my house!

Getting a "good" shopping cart.

Opening a bag of chips and not having the bag tear all the way down the side.

Having all the socks match up out of the dryer (still waiting to experience this).

I would probably lose my mind if I got a new vacuum

Soup.
Yep.. soup. When I want to make soup and start cooking from scratch it's always because Fall is coming and I want to nest. So when I have an urge to make soup I know my favorite season is on it's way.

I was looking at the Dyson website yesterday, deciding which one I will buy if I ever have the money... I also fantasize about owning a dishwasher. Those are cheaper, but no space at the moment :(

Oh my this! I totally start to nest when Fall starts to roll in. The soups and stews keep rolling out of the kitchen, freshly baked breads....and loads and loads of knitting between batches of whatever is going on in the kitchen.

Hubby doesn't even bat an eyelash at the late summer yarn bill anymore (well...he HARDLY bats an eyelash, LOL).

A thread in O/T reminded me that I get excited over tools...well MY tools.
Bought myself my own drill and a scroll saw (still haven't used to saw but I have it lol). I like building things...

I also get all giggly when I get art supplies and anything related to my reptiles (supplies or food ie. mealworms).

I get it.
I asked for a new hose for our central vac for Christmas a couple years ago. The old on was cracked, and falling apart, had 4 different kinds of duct tape holding it together. So when Santa brought the new one I was over the moon. Lets face it with 3 dogs and a cat I needed one that was functional.

I also LOVE clean sheets. We even "celebrate" clean sheets day.

Something that I get Jazzed over but....is new cooking tools. It can be something as cheap and simple as a spatula, or big spoon.

Office supplies. I was giddy as all get out when I got the full rainbow set of fine point, clickable Sharpies.

Maybe glue wasn't the only thing you were sniffing

*Awesome* on the CMS with laser ... better than mine (and I have a good one).

Garbage day.
I love emptying every trash bin in the place and not just transferring it to a bigger bin, but knowing that the men are coming to take it away today!

I also get a high every time my kids give me an old toy or a piece of clothing that doesn't fit. I just love getting rid of stuff, lol.

Also "making good time". You know...when you travel a long distance? Even shaving one minute off my travel time is exciting.
