sunset, your evening sounds a lot better. I'm at my parents house looking at genitalia...fruit fly genitalia. Being a teacher I had to bring tubes of newly formed flies home so that I could sort them into male and female when they emerged from their cocoons.

Sunsets, some pretty good games on tonight. Nebraska looks like a fun one to watch. Move over, pass the popcorn. FWW is on call, DS 8 is playing minecraft. Pretty much on my own even with people here!

Kg, wow! Got to admit I haven't heard that one before.

Son's in bed, wife's at work, I'm playing Saints Row 4. This game is fucking bugnuts crazy. Don't get into the college football too much, parents didn't finish college, my sis goes to University of Illinois (team sucks), and my college didn't have a football team. I am excited about my Chicago Bears and the Patriots tomorrow, though.

FP...I'm going to a bar to watch the Pats with a local Meetup group. It's only my second meetup, but I figure I have to start meeting some new folks now that half of my time is out of the home.

FP, Go Bears! White Sox also(I'm old enough to remember "Good guys wear black") FWW is a steelers fan. Hard core enough that when she turned 40, bought her a Tat for her upper arm.

Tough to buy anything as that was less than 2 months post D-day.

Like the college fb cause they're trying to get to the NFL. I think it's real passion vs. paid for.

Mis read the schedule. But ND vs Michigan and Oklahoma vs W Virginia

kg: I haven't seen genitalia in months. A little jealous.

5354: watching ND v Michigan. Don't get many channels these days. Is there a way both can lose?

I'm originally from New England, but I've lived here outside of Chicago since 1993, hence the dual allegiances. Not a White Sox fan, though....Cubs and Yankees are where it's at for me. I loathe, loathe, loathe the Red Sox....who of course everyone in my family roots for. Meh.

Understood. I mean, I like football as a sport, so I can sit down and watch a college game, I just don't have the rooting interest, KWIM? I think the defense is nastier at the pro level, though, even with all the de-fanging.

Speaking of fun to watch, my step brother is a Freshman at Iowa. He was originally supposed to grayshirt, then got called in to redshirt and did so well in practice that they pulled the redshirt and played him today. He was in for a few snaps and caught both passes that were thrown to him.

He's going to surprise people!

STBX is a Colts fan. We went to the last Favre v P. Manning game in Indy. It was a 4:30 EST kick. We watched the early game in he hotel bar. It was Bears v Vikings. A couple GB fans were pondering who to root for. The answer was "Scoreless tie...lots of injuries."

Stillkicking - I'm a Colorado boy, and Coors banquet beer is a staple of mine. I always have it on hand. I refuse to drink it out of the bottle, though. It's always best out of the can!

h0peless - I was with you on the water today. I was the designated driver as well.

I was very happy that my Broncos won this week. The first half of the game was messy as hell, but I guess it's the second half of the game that really counts.

Just chilling with my family tonight. I'm getting to a point again where that grounds me and refreshes me. Feels good.

Losfer, that is where I am striving to get to. So much feels *normal* then WHAM! Right between the eyes. I don't know if it is acceptance that I am striving for or if, hell I don't know what I'm even trying to ask.

So much can be going well. Good day together, great sex, nice dinner...then it hits. She fucked another dude. Told him she loved him. Literally out of the blue. 93.2% of the day has gone well. Triggers are minimal and then....

Suggestions? Yea, I know...time. Sucks getting there though.

Lighter note. Just finished a batch of chili to freeze. Gonna be 98-100 tomorrow so, nope not on the menu. Picked the tomatoes, peppers and garlic today. Can't make a good batch of chili without a beer so it's a bud light night tonight. Tomorrow will be spaghetti.

More good football on while I do it.

Just beat my wife 252-187 in Scrabble.... And they say that you can't punish and reconcile at the same time...

5454... yeah, that's where my mind was at primarily last week. I told that to my wife, and then some. Made for a rough weekend.

I'm still riding those waves between being pissed and loving. I'm still riding those waves of feeling like maybe I am loved, and then trying to protect myself as well.

No words of advice, just saying I've been there in the last few days, and I do understand.
