I saw this and thought that it was appropriate considering what 64fleet posted.

So, the D is final and who knows what the future holds. I had signed up on an OLD site but, deactivated my account the next day because I figured I was just being stupid and reeked of desperation. I need to work on myself to get to happy. So in furtherance of that goal, there are a few things that are going well. New job is going well so far. Yesterday was a few errands then to a beer festival with some new friends. Today was sleeping in before a pickup game in the morning, then homemade apple cobbler and ribs with some football and a beer. Blueberry if you must know and yes, fruit in beer; who cares what you think it's what I like.

I saw this posted and thought it made some sense.

I seriously think my fWW would be relieved to find out if I had an affair. Not that I would tell her, but if she found out, I think - in her view - we'd be back on some sort of psychic even-ground.

That she chose her path... And then, 6 years later, thought "Maybe i should try that again" makes staying with her even worse. I mean, if she fucked somebody else in a lathery fit of hubris ONCE, and suddenly realized it was the worst thing she had ever done, I could maybe deal with it.

But, when she chose to get emotionally involved and have rampant sex with 2 different men 6 years apart (and lie and gaslight a MC and myself in the interim)... NOW, there exists a problem in your brain matter. One instance, in a frenzy, might be excused/dealt with/somewhat understandable, but repeated transgressions, over a period of years, dumbfounds me.

Do only us BH's have consciences?

Fruit in beer is perfectly normal. I finished off the last of a strawberry honey wheat I did at the beginning of summer. Was okay but I think it fermented too high a temp because it was way too fruity. Not the strawberry fruity either. I dunno I can't seem to get the fucking thing to taste right when I use fruit. Sam Adams Blackberry Witbeer or Cherry Wheat are unstoppable. I did finally unlock the secret of perfect NJ Italian Restaurant pizza cheese though. Where it's just greasy enough, dribbly enough, gooey (is that a word I can use? Because I will just say it feels wrong to say that word. Like checking out womens panties when there is not a woman in them. Not like, buying them for a chick, but standing there and inspecting them for no other reason than to inspect them. Maybe this analogy just doesn't work, nevermind) and reheats the right fucking way. I got the dough down, and the cheese. Now I need to replicate the perfect sauce.

What the fuck was I talking about. Whatever. XKCD is always a win.

flup, that was the deciding factor for me too. I could handle the bad choices. I could even cope with the usual mental bullshit justifications and lack of progress on the past, it was the repeat performances that got me.

Well the hops are a bittering agent. The type of hops you use depends on the kind of beer you are making. This is a pretty good list:

http://byo.com/resources/hops

the alpha acid rating is basically the level of bitterness the volume of hops. so higher alpha acids mean you get increased bittering with the same volume. The different hops also carry different influences on the flavor. Before hops they used all kinds of shit to cut the fruitiness you get from fermentation process.

See, that shit there is why I prefer to make wine. Just throw in a bunch of fruit and some yeast, then wait. It gets a bit more difficult with the clarifying stage, and I am not going to buy a damn filter because I don't drink enough to make that worthwhile.

Well you can do the same thing with beer, it's just that you can fine tune wine and beer and everything from the water to the temperature influences both. My friends dad makes the best wine I have ever tasted but he goes all out selecting grapes and has built his own wine cave in the back that he keeps at just the right temperature, etc. I am not that involved with beer, I don't really even do all grain brews and stick to at least partial extract because I don't have the time to do that. When you get right down to it you can throw a bunch of barley into a small pool and end up with a kind of beer. Though it wouldn't be that good. Cider is the easy way to go. Apparently you can leave a half gallon sitting on a counter for a week, mix the other half back in and you have hard cider. Never been brave enough to try that shit.

NJ divorce laws are draconian for men yeah.
