We took a big step today and switched our kids to a different school. We found out that our youngest would be in the same class as WH's AP's son and after losing myself for a couple of days I realized it wasn't worth the hassle and we signed then up today.

I'm sad. We loved their school and was looking forward to spending a lot of fun times with the families we had grown to know. Now that is all gone.

People are shocked that we are leaving. I guess I did a better job of hiding my anger than I thought.

I'm hoping this is a step in the right direction for WH and I.

Sounds like this was a really tough decision, but most likely the right decision. It would be a lot more difficult if your youngest child developed a bond or friendship with the AP's son, and then you had to take them out of the school.

I think you did the right thing.

Best of luck with moving forward in this new direction.
