I've been a single mom since the day he left 3 years ago. Now w/ the divorce looming I will really be single. I haven't worn my ring in 3 years but still some part of me does feel married. How do you break free from those feelings and start again? BTW, I have no time for myself and I realize that because I have 2 young kids and not a lot of help. I put that as my 1st job and the job that pays the bills my 2nd. I don't know how to wrap around my head of being officially single. Obivously, he had no problem with that.......ugh.

He has no problem with it because he left you with the responsibilities of raising kids. I think that as the kids get older and you start to find time the feeling of being single will emerge, but personally I think it still feels much different than before I had gotten married and had kids. For like you, my kids are my #1 job.
