When I woke up this morning, before checking the solo ticket I'd purchased for last night's (or I guess now Weds night's) Powerball - I actually thought to myself, "Like seriously, WTF would I DO with $399 or $400 million?!"
I feel like there's a great responsibility to that kind of money that I honestly wouldn't want.
Don't get me wrong - of course I love the dream and would love to win enough to make things comfortable for my kids and I, some family too - but I really wouldn't know what to do with such an insane amount.
What does one do with that sort of money?!

The lump sum payout was closer to $233 million. So much easier to handle right?
I bought 5 tix and I didn't have any qualms about how much responsibility came w/ it.
That may sound callous but I guess I knew I didn't have a prayer of winning so I just daydreamed about that $$$ and didn't worry about the rest.

I would go stand in line at the place where you have to pay your electric bill in person because it's about to be cut off. And I would pay every single person's bill in that line.

The very first thing a winner should do is hire around-the-clock protection for themselves and their loved ones. $400 million would bring a lot of attention from very bad people.

I'm not greedy. I think there should be 400 one-million dollar winners. Share the wealth!

Plough through it PDQ if many reports are correct! I'm not sure if the studies have included $400 million winners, though.

Just give me a chance at proving if I'm responsible enough or not.
If I'm not, then I have plenty of money to pay restitution, fees, and fines.

..how much $$$$$$$$$$ is 'too much' $$$$$$$$$$
..there are lots of charities to donate most of it.
..you could always make everyone on your street millionaires..
..you could build schools in Africa..
..you could finance womens' shelters across the country..
..you could pay everyones' admission to Disneyland for the next 5 years..
..giving most of it back by helping others less fortunate would be fun..
..i remember the 1960's TV show 'The Millionaire' where people down on their luck were given 1 million dollars.
..always hoped he'd ring my doorbell.
..last.. $$$$$$$$ can't buy happiness.. it hasn't for me!! considering the site i'm on right now!!!!!
..i've stopped buying lottery tickets for some time now..
