I will keep your family in my prayers.
One should rather die than be betrayed. There is no deceit in death. It delivers precisely what it has promised. Betrayal, though ... betrayal is the willful slaughter of hope. ~Steven Deitz

NIK, you've been so kind to me over the past couple of years. Your post left me in tears. You and your entire family will be in my prayers. You are such a loving, compassionate daughter.

I'm sorry NIK.
Mom and I made a similar decision with/for Dad 3 1/2 years ago. How lucky we were to hold his hand, each of us, and tell him it was ok to go.
And he did.

Holding you up in prayer this evening. Prayer that God covers your Mom in His love and grace; and that He provides you strength and courage to face the days ahead.
May God bless you all.
