..@LosferWords,

as promised..ham gravy recipe:

Mrs. smy's Ham Gravy
...from a recipe his aunt taught me over 40+ years ago:
Score ham in criss-cross pattern and insert lots of fresh cloves.
Cover ham with canned pineapple slices & cherries. Add pineapple & cherry juice to water in pan.
After ham is done, remove ham from pan.
Using the ham drippings, bring to a slow boil on stovetop. Prepare gravy mixture in a cup (Bisto & flour, 1 tbsp each, make paste with COLD water). Add to boiling drippings. Let thicken. Lower temperature. Add brown sugar to taste, usually 1/2 cup to 3/4.
Bon appetit!

smy says, "Pass the gravy!"

Dill and lemon-butter salmon, noodles, and asparagus. And then halloween candy.
We went to the Zoo Boo today.
Oh and then cider & donuts.

Lime cilantro shrimp, maple whiskey chipotle cream mussels, boccocini salad, and grilled asparagus.

Pecan pie. Yep, that was all.

They're small balls of mozarella. Toss with cherry/grape tomatoes, and some fresh basil or spinach or leaf greens or whatever, and add some balsamic vinaigrette - delicious!

Throwing together dinner for the kiddo right now... gemelli pasta with a homemade mushroom and chicken sausage marinara sauce. Might have a little myself. Smelling pretty good up in here!

Beef and broccoli. And a sugar cookie. Ok, maybe 2 sugar cookies.

Crunchy, or chewy? Either way, awesome. I guess this question really is irrelevant...

Do you make them yourself?

No - you can buy them at the grocery store. They usually come in a container with a brine that you drain. You usually see them near the fresh deli/produce/cheese sections.
