The clerk said it is so they know we already paid for the packaging item when we return to ship it.
Ooohhhhhh, well that makes sense.

I just spent $9million on postage!!!

I spent about that much last year because of my friggin' huge cards + glitter. This year I estimate only $7 million.

I am happy that we can contribute to the PO in the excellent way that Finally10 and I did. Postage with them was better than FedEx. Sparkles will be everywhere.

I gotta finish these tonight. I tried this afternoon, but I chose "The Purge" as my background distraction. Bad choice for sooooooo many reasons.

Bought my cards tonight! I always buy them the year before when they go on sale after Christmas, but last year I didn't know I'd be needing an extra 79! lol

Am waiting until hubby gets home on Monday to make them out. We are making it a new tradition to do this together. As he has never done this before in his life we may be hard pressed to make the deadline. lol

OH and we are officially coming out of the closet as we will be signing BOTH names

This is fun already and I haven't even opened my industrial sized drum of glitter yet......

I have to drop from the list . I got sick for a little over 2 weeks and my job said they would pay me sick leave but they didn't, thus I can't afford to do anything until I get my pay from them and they have no idea when that will be. I'm sorry, I was so looking forward to this! Enjoy the cards guys, maybe next year.

That's OK, Unagie. Your card is already glittered and sealed, so you will be getting at least one anyway!

Unagie, that is unfortunate and hope you feel better. But don't worry about not being able to participate, I'm sure everyone on here would agree that you'll still get cards...that is the spirit of Christmas...to give to someone in need and not worry about getting something in return. Focus on getting better and look forward to the cards that will come your way!

As for everyone else having theirs mailed out already, well, that's incredible and I'm quit envious. I just got done putting names and stamps on each envelope. Now I just need to write out 79 cards!! Guess what I'll be doing this weekend?

((((Unagie)))

You may not be able to give this year, but I know for fact you have more than one card headed in your direction and you will receive abundantly. I hope that they bring a smile to your face and warmth to your heart.

The box is officially on its way!!! Will be there Monday.

FYI, if you don't have a shipping address for mailers, the clerk will look at you like and then you have to sweet talk them into just putting a random zip code on it so it'll ship.

Seriously. It's going to an address in the USA. It's not going to Hong Kong. I seriously doubt basic shipping in the lower 48 is going to be THAT different! Sheesh.

Yay for another Christmas tradition!

My card is already coming your way... so that's another card you can count on.

Don't worry about not sending them this year.... It's all good!

Unagie, I'm sorry you've been sick and work let you down. Don't worry about cards.
I put extra sparkles in yours from us, and I'm so glad I did.

Finished mine, too! Now I just need to find some rubber bands and a box.

I found this mesmerizing gif of someone who put their glitter to good use...in a subwoofer.

I can't find glitter anywhere in my neck of the woods, unless I'm just looking in the wrong places. There are gallons of glitter glue, but no plain glitter. I don't have a Michael's or similar store nearby...closest is 25 miles away. But I may end up hitting that if the super Walmart doesn't have it.

Everything is ready to go except for that.
