I can't wait. It's so much fun being an elf....even before we break out the tequila.

Can't wait!

My new Cmas traditions include pix of the elves being tipsy, pix of Teddy and Kyle being festive, the first appearance of the Great Christmas Beaver, and the first glitter of the season!

This is me getting my first SI Christmas card every year...

Bay Area represent!! (Did you get into the truffles - those are my favorite! )

I hope that this somehow makes up for the incredibly dumb tape job. I'm really sorry about that....

This is my rookie year for this exchange (other than doing ONE last year), so it was an experiment and a learning exercise. I used a combination of sequins, confetti and some glitter for good measure and for the tradition of it. I decided to err on the side of caution and went a bit light. I'll have to check out what the rest of you do and maybe adjust next time.

When I went into the craft store and asked where I would find the glitter, to save time, the clerk told me where I would find, "All the glitter you would want in the world". I'm guessing *she* *isn't* a member of SI or she wouldn't have said that!!

I'm really looking forward to getting my cards, but I'm sure there will be questions about all the cards, and especially about all the glitter!!

Don't worry about it, SAZ, you'll still be glitterized. You can get us back next time.

Chrys---you're kidding right? You've been here forever. How do you not know of the Great SI ChristmasTime debate of "it's a puppy....NO....it's a beaver" debate?????

pfft Hardly a debate! The Christmas Beaver mades his appearance, and a few antagonizers try to say it is some unlikely animal that looks nothing like a beaver. Yet his essence shines through, and he remains, every year, a beaver...(mainly because it is just fun to say The Great Christmas Beaver).

Oh, I can't WAIT for the beaver/puppy/creature, and all the other critters! Hey! It's December already....where ARE they!!

And I'll second the "bless you guys" for DS, MH and all the elves. Such a huge amount of work, and it is deeply appreciated.

I'd say you guys have no idea what it means to us, but I'm pretty sure you do!

Oh, no, you don't! I haven't gone to bed yet...it's a beaver.

And I have upped your glitter quotient for next year.

You darn West Coast person!! I don't care if it's 9pm where you live -- go to freakin' bed and let me run amok here!!!

I can only hope that you suffer memory loss or a natural disaster that causes you to lose your *punish by glitter* list at some point in the next 11 months! ....gotta go work on a plan for that....

Yay!
I think I see my cards on the far right, up against the wall. 2 bundles of white sandwiched in red envelopes.

I just can't wait to start receiving these.
I'm going to cry, I just know it.

I don't think we tracked ours. I need to remember to put something distinctive on the cards so I can tell if ours is on the table. All I remember is they are white, with writing in the middle, and a Christmas stamp in the upper right...yeah, that should stand out...
