Shimmery or otherwise, they'd get sucked into the vacuum. Maybe I'm diabolical but I hate spiders.

Hmmmmm..... did you get our card yet?

I hope it wasn't too heavy

Actually, no. And I was braced and prepared all Saturday evening as I opened cards.

Maybe it will come today.

AbbyCadabby here's the story.

That's a sweet story. I still want to squish all the spiders.

WHAT????!!!! Stop ruining Christmas!!!!!!

I am why we can't have nice thiiinnnnnggggsss!!

Side note: Abby, your Grinch card was a big hit here

Awww. I'm glad. Not everyone got grinch cards though so we should probably keep it quiet. I ran out of the others I bought previously and had to make a quick run to Walgreen's on the night I was finishing the cards.

thanks again, for the third year in a row- the doggies r glittered, the evil kitty is glittered, the house, me n the lil chica r glittered. DD (25y/o) says Cayc won with best glitter, but she agrees with Teslet on some of the non-glitterers needing to step it up next year under threat of not getting a card- she also did the shake, sigh, put aside, shake, oooooohhhh, open, throw glitter on evil kitty. we had enough to fill our ornament also...which glittered me. She also sends a special thank u shout out for the sender with the pink ribbon confetti, for her
nana. so many happy feels...

(I bet next year you can find me a Happy Donkey Day card).

I'll start looking earlier next year.

It was funny as hell though. Me and ds15 went to 2 different stores, looking all through the card sections. I told him to look for a card with a donkey on it, because I needed a Happy Donkey Day card. He turned around, glared at me and said, "There is NO such thing as Donkey Day! What is wrong with you? And nobody makes a card with a donkey on it. That's just dumb!" Shook his head and walked off.

It was worth EVERY minute.

The conversation with DD on the way to school.

DD - Mom you've got glitter on your forehead.

Me - I know. It's on my nose and in my right eye, too. It should lessen by mid February.

DD - I love doing the glitter cards. They're awesome.

Found a stuffed mailbox today.

If there is so much glitter in the bottom of the envelope that it could stand up like a paperweight -- that's a scary thing right? (I'm looking at the oversized blue envelope, and the oversized red one too!!!) Annnndddd, there are a couple of small sized ones that weigh more alone than all of the rest combined!

I just started to open one that seemed *safe*--uhhh, yea. Not so much.
Back on the pile it went.....

I'll wait until my kids are here tomorrow night. I'm thinking that I'll hand my DS14 one that I know has glitter in it (without warning him) and watch his expression when he pulls it out.
And I just *might* let him do it INSIDE the house.
See? I'm getting braver.....
