What I wish for the most, is...

Money is the obvious one, so I will say more...

1.) More hands;

2.) More types of drive thru's for younger, sleeping kids to not have to get out of the car;

3.) More time

4.) That dd did not know or spend time with Fatty B. Ugg.

What do you wish for?

I'm not a single parent just yet, but I have been (before I met WH, and after Dday 2) and certainly more money...but also a little more understanding, because it feels like other people put the blame on me for being the only parent, when nothing could be further from the truth...but mostly, more time. I wish WH had given DD the gift of being a decent father longer. Instead, he's giving her the gift of "daddy issues."

Me: 33 STBXH: 34 DD: 8
D Day (EA): 6-19-08
D Day #2 (SA): 7-5-10
D Day #3 (EA): 11-8-13
WH moved out: 11-18-13
Moved BACK IN (because the lawyer told him to): 11/29/13.
Filed for Divorce: 12-9-13
In house separation...fun, fun, fun.

I wish I could just relax for a little while. I always feel on edge.

I also wish I did not have to spend so much freaking time in the car, shuttling little ones back and forth.

More money would be lovely too.

As a single parent:

- more time
- money money (of course)
- some appreciation from my family of how difficult it is at times being a single parent.
- a day off, just for me, no driving around to sports or appointments, no responsiblities, just a day to myself. I only need one day to recharge..lol. DO you think Adam Levine would be willing to be my slave for that day...probably not
-and my big one ---- the world to see who the real parent is and who the disney dad is!!

BS (me) 40
WH - 48
Married 12 years
DS - 12
D-day 06/21/09
Separated....hopefully divorcing soon.

As a divorced parent (remarried now, but still) of young adults, I wish my kids could see my truth.

They're very hesitant to hurt their dad's feelings, which usually means I get sidelined or they consider his plans (holiday, weekend, etc) first before giving the ok to things I plan with/for them.
In a nutshell, I guess I just wish they could appreciate things from my view.
