WS seems to be "getting it". He's reading stuff on his own. Talking to me, sharing feelings, making time for me, cuddling(huge deal), and sleeping. He's sleeping! (He has only gotten like 4 or 5 hours of sleep a night for like most of the time I've known him) anytime I need to talk... We do... Even though it's clear that it hurts him to think about what he did, he does anyway.

Full disclosure is good for everyone! I just hope we can keep it up... I'm horrified that we'll slide back into our familiar roles, and we'll come back here...

Same here. My WW is reading books on her own, we are talking every day, she's calling me from work, taking time together. She said last night that she didn't knew if one day she'll be able to get over what she has done to me. Sometime I feel hopeful, but then I think that she was able to lie to me for so long. I think that only if they keep there effort over time, it will work.

Sleeping.....

Pre-A I would get about 4 hours a night....

Since using sleep aides....I get 6-9 hours...I am noticing a HUGE difference.

Not the core part of your post...but sleep is so very important for all involved.

Congratulations on your husband getting it! At 16 months out my wife is getting it more and more.

I, too, am concerned about FOO jacking with my M again. I am committed to modifying MY behavior....and pray that my wife is too. I realize just how deceptive my wife can be...but take comfort in my developing detection skills. I also take comfort in the fact that should adultery be chosen again in ANY FORM our M will end.

Congratulations again!

God be with us all.

His saving grace is that he came clean less than 24 hours later. (And by clean, I mean 4 years of trickle truth and hiding stuff just dropped at my feet with tears and snot.) if i had found it on my own... He'd be gone. His honesty and remorse is the only reason, he's still at bat. He's in the bottom of the ninth with two outs, and two strikes. He swings, and misses... The game is over.

(((hugs)))

Imagine a ship trying to set sail while towing an anchor. Cutting free is not a gift to the anchor. You must release that burden, not because the anchor is worthy, but because the ship is.
