in just a few short days, who knew?

Not me.

almost bought a pack of cigarettes yesterday and really almost drove to the store. I had a week from "hell" and a lot of old feelings came up to the surface and reminded me of when I used to go smoke.

Well instead I stuffed my face with goodies, so now I'm about 20lbs heavier, which is the icky drawback, but I figure its 10 times better than smoking.

I guess with any type of addiction we are never "cured". Its only one day at a time always. My boss commented that I am a "non-smoker" now, which yes I can call myself, but deep down I know that I will always be a smoker because I know that at any day, any time I can go back. I am making a choice every day not to at this point.

At least I have no more chest pains - which I had on an almost daily basis.

Way to go Clicky.

almost bought a pack of cigarettes yesterday and really almost drove to the store. But you didn't, that is the key.

Congratulations on making it through your first six months and here's to 600 more months.

WOW! 6 months. Sososososo proud of you, click4it.

I just recently reached my two year mark, and still think of myself as a smoker. Just nonpracticing! I know there will always be moments when I feel like a cigarette is the only thing that will make the world a better place. Congrats on making it through a bad week without giving in to the urge!

You are amazing, click. You have worked so hard for those six months, and you have earned every single smoke free day. I'm humbled by your determination. You've SO got this. Congratulations, honey.
