OK I've come up with a list of things that I want to do.

1. Learn Viennese Waltz
2. Visit a new location in the US
3. Spend some time in Hong Kong when I travel to China
4. Toss out/sell stuff that I haven't touched in years

1. quit smoking (again, already using e-cigs so trying)

Gajit (and anyone else trying to quit.. at least those living in the US) - in Chicago the Respiratory Health Association offers Courage to Quit, an awesome smoking cessation program. There was also a tobacco quit line that people could call for free assistance with cessation. The same program isn't everywhere, but there could be tobacco control agencies with info on support groups, materials, etc. try googling some of those words and see what comes up in your area!

As for my joyful resolution...

1. I already started doing what I call "interpretive yoga" some nights before bed. I listen to music that makes me happy and start in a few yoga positions, then move around in whatever way feels good...sort of stretching out/off the day and getting myself in a feel-good, peaceful place before bed.

I never thought about just moving around like that until I took a class called NIA, it's so silly and wonderful!

2. (Try to) experience all emotions as joyful. Even when I'm frustrated, stressed, sad, etc., try to find enjoyment in the feeling of those emotions because they're coming from a real place, and I think being authentic is what's truly joyful for me.

3. Stop being so hard on myself and on other people...prioritize my flip outs. Everything isn't a huge violation!

He didn't show up for the D...very fitting, seeing as he didn't show up for the M, either : )
