I do not GET why she hasn't taken you up on the talk and is instead stalking you via social media.

Ditto on this. Something seems "off" here. I don't think I would friend her, I believe she would only be "stalking" you thru fb to keep an eye on you with her guy....it couldn't possibly be a healthy friendship. You gave her the info and chance to actually speak with you. If she has questions, she needs to be out front and ask them...

I immediately texted the other coworker and apologized, explaining the mix-up and told him to have his wife call me if she had any questions.

Based on ^^^^^, we all know there is the possibility that she never rec'd the message from her H. That is...if he has something to hide.

Again, I would accept the request.

Good Luck.

Just be careful. Keep us posted as to what happens.
Good luck!

Don't friend her...but, send her a message explaining (again) and why you would never be the OW. Maybe her husband didn't tell her your message. Explain it, then tell her this will be the last contact, and you wanted her to know the circumstances of the situation, but that's it.

If her H is cheating, clearly it isn't on you. Is he's cheated in the past, she might just want reassurance. You fan help help that. If you send one final message, then NC, that would be great. He may have been a former WS. She may just need reassurance.

After a final message, shut.it.down. don't even talk to this guy unless it's work related. As a BS who's husband who had affairs with employees, I would have wanted some sort of respond. No response, to me, would have "looked" like an admission of guilt.

Maybe the husband never told her about the mix-up and is enjoying his wife being jealous.

Just curious, what was the outcome?

She actually rescinded both of her friend requests, so I'm just letting it go. Nothing else to do other than talk to her H about it, which I am most certainly not going to do!

Thanks for all of your advice, all.
