Highlight what you want to quote by clicking just to the left of the first word, holding the left click button down and then move your mouse across the text. Release the left click button.

I'm trying this again.

If I could turn back time.

dogg...make sure you're in the text/message box (like you're responding to a post) when you're using the quote button.

I feel like someone should make s YouTube video. I know the concept is pretty simple, but a lot of newbies struggle with it.

It does not put the quote in a quote box.

Highlight what you want to quote. Once it's highlighted, place your cursor on the highlighted area. Right click on the highlighted area. Then right click on copy.

Next, scroll down to where it says Post Reply to Topic. Click on that, and the text box will show up on your screen. Click on the text box. Then right click. Then click on paste. The quote that you have previously highlighted will show up in the text box. Now you need to highlight the quote again. Once you have it highlighted again, click on quote.

It will appear as quote: (the text you highlighted) quote. Now you can continue typing the rest of your post, and what is between the two [quotes] will appear as a highlighted quote in your post.

I hope this helps. I know it sounds really complicated, but once you get it, it's really simple. Just keep trying.

As in the first paragraph above, highlight the part you want to quote. Then click the quote button just left of the dialogue box you are typing in.

I think I got it, thanks.
