Perv's sense of entitlement is coming out in full force nowadays. As we near divorce and end more things between us, each of us, actually, are "coming out" more in personality. (I am kind of mouthy and this is frowned on but fun).

Anyway...

The few dealings that I have to have with the guy remind me of a dog we had years ago. This was a large black mix and as he aged, his habits were really frustrating. He would do the usual running away that some do and ate stuff he wasn't supposed to...but not only food...poison things and somehow he kept on going.

He managed behavior things that amaze me to this day, like getting up to high shelves to get these things down. Bleach for wood and so on. Bug repellent. Nothing we gave him, but somehow he got to them.

I remember one day he knocked down the container of recycles and I could hear it on the basement floor as if a cart was going down the sidewalk. Scared the daylights out of me.

Anyway...

Lately I've been having flashbacks of memories of the dog and this kind of rebellious behavior is just like Perv does now. So when I interact with him -usually electronic only-I hear in my head my own voice yelling, "BAD DOG!!!" and shaking my finger at him.

Yet the dog was a friend in his own right, the kind that snuggle like velcro on your leg and try to sit on the furniture you just picked up.

I'm sorry, but I don't think you should insult your dog's memory like that.

It says something that your "bad dog" had more redeeming qualities than Perv.

RIP dog.

"BAD DOG!!!" and shaking my finger at him.

I dare you to do this in person one day.

I think...therefore, I'm single.
