Thought I'd post an update and more info on DDs condition, it's the strangest thing.
Her personality is 100% in tact, her sense of reason and logic are in tact and to talk to her you would never know anything is wrong except for the fact that she doesn't remember most of her adult life.
She knows that she has been with her husband for 11 yrs, she knows that she loves him and trusts him and she would not have married him and had children with him if she didn't. She just doesn't have 11 yrs worth of memories with him. She doesn't remember her wedding but remembered a ring that her H gave her on their first anniversary and when prompted was able to come up with the details of where they went and how romantic it was.
She remembers giving birth and the first few months after but nothing of her 2 yr old after that. She is amazed by how smart he is and that she actually taught him his numbers, shapes, colors, etc...
She remembers cousins but not their children, she remembers a dog I had that died but not the one I've had for 6 yrs.
She doesn't remember that she spins her own yarn, knits her own socks, quilts, bakes, makes her own soaps, detergents and deodorant.
I've heard stories of similar situations from a couple friends, one got his memory back after just a week, the other took almost a year.
SIL got referral and paperwork from ER yesterday and is waiting on call back from neurologist. We're hoping to get her in this week.

Thanks for posting an update. I was just looking for your thread to ask. Continued good thoughts!

I am happy to report that it has been 3 weeks since DDs last seizure. Unfortunately she has been sick with one thing or another almost the entire time. Once the postictal headaches and sleepiness wore off she almost immediately had a crohns flare up, and now she is fighting strep throat. Poor thing can't catch a break during this pregnancy!
For the first 2 weeks her H and I tag teamed to make sure she wasn't left alone with the 2 yr old. We recruited her cousin to come sit with her when we were both needed at our jobs but she quickly became resentful and didn't want any more "babysitters". I had a heart to heart with her and her H and she conceded to let him install a nanny cam so that we could both watch her from work. It's gone very well for the past week. Now mind you, I was with her on Saturday, her H was off Sunday, Tues and Wed. I took a long lunch yesterday to take her to the Dr then I dropped my GS at my nieces so DD could rest. So in actuality she has only been alone with him for an entire day twice since her H put the camera up last Wednesday evening. But, it gives us both peace of mind knowing that we can check on her and GS throughout the day without having to blow her phone up all day long.
Her memory is starting to improve, she has what she has described as memory bursts. The more we talk to her about people, places, things, etc... the more familiar they feel to her. I am hopeful she will recover a lot more of her memories, I just hope she doesn't remember that she doesn't like me very much. LOL!
