Just got it. Stuck in meetings most of next two days. Thanks!

Siss,
Not definite yet. I'm supposed to speak sat. Trying to get it moved to Friday. If so, I'll be up and I'll talk to whid? And see if she would like to attend as well. Should know if I can move by Tuesday. This sounds like too much fun to miss.

At some point it will be too late to join.

Gleep? Lord forgive me, but I was *really* hoping DGD delivery date was off by a week.

Sigh, hopefully, plans will work out.

Besides, it's going to be an annual event, right?

Either way, it's all good!

At some point it will be too late to join.

If you make a late decision, raise a flag. If you can be accommodated, you'll be more than welcome. It's just that raising a flag for the first time on Thursday or Friday might not be noticed by the planning committee.

Sometimes my sense of humor is a little too dry. In this case, I can't figure out what the deadline really should be, so I said something really vague. To say it cutely, we're 5 weeks away from the g2g. The real deadline is probably somewhere between 5 days and 5 hours before Friday evening.

Baseball game: tickets have been purchased for those who committed. It's not too late to go, but it is too late to be part of the group purchase. Sitting with or close to the group is iffy.

Friday night, 6/27 You need to let us know you're coming in time for us to send you the address and other particulars. I don't know how much time the committee will be on line Thursday and Friday, so the earlier you let us know, the better.

Saturday night dinner needs more notice than Friday, since we'll be at a restaurant that's generally busy.

It would be nice to have a firm count early in the week, but odds are that there'll be people who can't come at the last minute, which opens space for people who can. It's conceivable that the restaurant may have to set up a 2nd table if there are too many additions.

Saturday night entertainment is probably eminently amenable to last minute additions - but we're probably not going to be online a lot on Saturday, either, so if you don't decide until Saturday, you may never get necessary info on time and place.

The earlier you decide the better, but IMO this is a g2g, not a formal dinner party.

BTW, for folks who find sites like tripadvisor.com too full of data, Chicago Magazine has generally reliable listings of restaurants. Zagat's, too.

Of glass floors? Yes.

You saw me whine all the way across the glass pedestrian bridge in Chattanooga.

Oh so you don't want to see my picture from the Canton Tower glass box looking down that is 21m higher than Willis Tower's?

Shoot, I'll do that. Let's just make sure no cracks reappear between now and then. Heights I can do. Jumping off of them I can do. Falling through cracked glass? Done that one time too many.

Teslet's Uncle Teslen just took him to the Willis Tower today and I freaked out at school when I received the pic of Teslet sitting on that glass ledge!!

Teslet has a big ole smile on his face, so apparently it was all good.

Getting ready to send the "June's here - here are the logistics!*" PM.

*Totally made that up as a cover for the fact that I haven't gotten it out yet.

Baseball game tickets are now stored wherever plainsong stores tickets (somewhere in her desk, that is).

If you're going to the game but not coming Friday night, let me or Jrazz know, so we can figure out a way to get them to you (and a way to get your payment to Jrazz, too)....

We're looking forward to seeing everybody.

Queuing up Fugazi on the turntable, Mahler-Brahms-Tchaikovsky on the CDP, and putting thick steel floors down to take the abuse of high heels....
