Maybe an odd thing to be excited about, but I’ve had some terrible dental consults over the years that indicated it would be potentially ruinous to even try. I’m too old, it’s too expensive, impacted tooth in sinus cavity must be left alone or I will lose three front teeth. I’ve left several dentist offices in tears over the past 10 years.
Well, after 2 years with my current primary dentist, he finally convinced me to try again. I met with a fantastic and experienced orthodontist yesterday. I still need 3d imaging and a consult with an oral surgeon but he has had cases like mine before and didn’t flinch. He even deferred to my primary’s preferred oral surgeon which indicates loyalty and confidence in primary’s judgment over money. I love good business practice, it's very reassuring.
Still need imaging (Monday) and then the oral consult before I will know for sure. Any extra mojo would be greatly appreciated.
