Ok I feel kind of embarrassed posting this just as the freshly divorced and battle-weary seem to be shifting over this way...

But this morning a friend divulged that she jumped into bed with someone she's started dating and I am SO. JEALOUS. Oh, and that it was great. I'm happy for her, but also uncomfortable at how this is reminding me what I don't have right now, and that I have no freaking IDEA when I will be ready for it.

When I was single before this whole expeience, it was very very unusual for me to go more than a few weeks without being with someone. Obviously that didn't end up working out for me in the long run, because I think if I had waited with my exWBF I might have passed on him, saving myself a world of pain. And I don't want to rush my healing which is not nearly done yet.

Riding the bus sucks - no doubt about it. My primary love language is touch and before I hopped off the bus I was missing it so much.

I started indulging in massages. Not for sexual intimacy, but just for nurturing touch. It helped. That and I kept my BOB batteries stocked.

Hang in there.

I know the feeling too. I've come to find out I just miss being in a relationship (and all the "fun stuff" that comes with it). It seems like EVERYONE I come in contact with has an SO, and, yeah, I guess I am jealous too.

That said, I know it'd be a mistake to pursue anything like that right now. Hell, my D isn't even final yet. I wish I could just hurry this healing process up, but yeah, all in due time I guess.

Hang in there.

I wouldn't be feeling jealous. I would be wondering WTF she is thinking jumping in to bed with someone she just started dating. But that's just me.

Marriages that start this way, stepping over the bodies of loved ones as the giddy couple walks down the aisle, are not likely to last.
