WH has been remorseful and very good about most things I ask since dday. He is trying very hard to be the persob he was and the person I thought he was.

He told me details as I asked (definitely trickled but they came out) He swears that I know everything and he's ok with taking a polygraph.

My question to those who have had one done on their WS...did you feel it helped? Did they pass, fail, etc ?

I'd like to hear your stories regarding the ws taking a polygraph. I believe I need this for my own self, but I don't know what I'll do if he fails. I don't think I could handle that. :(

I have no words of wisdom, as my WBF did not take a polygraph.

Just bumping this post so hopefully someone will come and give you some good advice!

I am happy for you that your WS is willing to take a poly. Mine is not unfortunately so I don'y have anything to contribute to your post. I have not worn my ring since he told me this a couple months ago but keep putting off taking the next step.

I think it is a good idea. If it calms your nerves, then it is worth it. If he doesn't pass, then you would want to know that!

Just know that they are not 100% effective. There can be false positives/negatives. I wouldn't take it as the end all be all, but if it would help to give you some relief, go for it!

He took one. Administered by a retired law enforcement officer. Showed deception, black & white. He said it was wrong. Looked up "how to beat a polygraph" beforehand. Guess he didn't learn much.

I've heard that you can, if you are good, show false truthfulness, but that if it shows deception, it's much more likely to be accurate. It was in his case, very accurate.
