I would get up sometimes 3 times a night that 1st 6 months because I was fighting my supply and pump for 15 to 20 minutes at time just to get MAYBE 3 ounces!!! It was horribly exhausting.....plus pumping when I woke up.....before bed.....and 3 times a day at work for 11 and a half months. I took tons and tons of supplements and tried every trick under the sun to keep my supply at an adequate level. I might as well have had a steady flow of the fenugreek supplement IV'd in my arm 24/7.
I was happy and sad at the same time when it was over. Happy because of the relief I felt from the shackles that unclamped me from that damned pump..... but sad from knowing my daughter was done and ready to move on from that phase in her life. I enjoyed the bonding time we had when we were actually breastfeeding one-on-one. It was a beautiful thing....
BUT.....I digress....another thing I DID enjoy about breastfeeding was my boobs. I had (TMI) great boobs! And, I have always heard that MOST women post breastfeeding.....usually end up with bigger boobs afterwards... not me...NO NO. I actually think they are smaller???!!! WTH! How did that happen??? I mean.....I workout...so I guess I should be happy they are perky? But, smaller...."almost" borderline a cup smaller....almost an A.....not happy about that....but not quite an A.
Has anyone else experienced this? I mean....I'm thankful I don't have tubular boobs (yet....age has yet to show me my future in that department so I may yet get to enjoy the spoils of jumproping my own boobs) but.....still.... ????
Its kinda depressing. I think this is the 1st time in my life that I wouldn't mind having a boob job.....knowing darn well I won't ever get one due to the cost....but I've never felt I might need one until now.

ME - BW - 35

D day: November 15th, 2009
Married: 5 Years, together 8
Divorced: December 13th, 2010
New Beginning: Piper/8-3-12
so I guess I should be happy they are perky
Yep! Be thankful they aren't saggy after BF!
Over 50 + 3 BF kids = saggy, baggy breasts
Enjoy your perky breasts --- they'll eventually get caught up --- oops, I mean down with gravity.
Remember, as my H always says, more than a handful (or mouthful) is wasteful!
I call them boobettes
Almost 50 and yup, saggy, baggy boobs.
Oh well, there are good bras that do wonders.
I breastfed all of mine for 6-14 months and mine are now a fullC/D but were larger before kids. I'm actually psyched, I always felt mine made me look heavier.
If I were you I would look on the bright side, I bet you can wear all of those tops that make wearing a bra near impossible!! Perky size A boobs are meant for those things .
"You don't get to choose if you get hurt in this world...but you do have some say in who hurts you."
But, then some future ex-boyfriend would find it and it would end up on the internet....no thanks.
I will take what I got. They aren't "so" bad....the only thing I hate is when I wear a sports bra, they flatten out like pancakes....almost like I don't need to wear one...but I know I do....
Now that I'm over 50 and post menopausal, they have grown to outrageous proportions. And when I loose weight, they don't go away, they just hang lower.
I would love to get a reduction/lift - I suffer from chronic neck and shoulder pain.
We always want what we don't have.
I breastfed 4 kids, am over 50, and (knock on wood) they aren't hanging around waistband. Not perky but not sagging to much.
Do exercises that work the muscles under your breast tissue (pectorals?) it really helps to keep the girls from migrating to far.
We are trying to be each other's accountability partners for working out....she kicks my motivational butt when I try to slack off and vice versa.....

Now that I have gained some weight, I actually have curves. AND boobs! And while they don't try to claw someone's eyes out with their height and rock-solidness, like some implanted coconuts, they have a lovely little sway to them AND, I can still go braless in a dress with some support! And I *do* get noticed.
So, while right now, they may be a small (hehehe) trial, trust me. When you're a bit older, you are going to go down on your knees and thank The Goddess that you were fit and compact up top, because you won't need a crane operator to host them babies back up from around your crotch!

The Goddess that you were fit and compact up top, because you won't need a crane operator to host them babies back up from around your crotch!
I am actually thankful that I don't have my mom's body.....my sister does.... they have HUGE triple D boobs or F or whatever size is HOLY HELL.... and gain weight all in their bellies. No butts, thighs or hips. Basically the textbook "apple" shapes. I am TOTALLY a pear-shape. Baby got back as far as I am concerned....I gain all my weight in my butt...hips...and thighs. I have NO CLUE whose body type I inherited. No. clue. at. all. But, I thank the good lord for giving me what I do have.
I will check into that!!!
Then I gained a bunch of weight in my early 40s. Didn't think I had added much to the boobs, until I lost a bunch of weight on the I-diet, and the boobs stayed.
Yeah, I'm rocking the curves now, and at 50 I'm not having the sag problem a lot of women at my age have. There's definitely an advantage to not being big-busted when you're younger.

Pretty pretty please, don't you ever ever feel
Like you're less than, less than perfect
Prior to pregnancy I was a full C - now I'm more of a small C. I gained 10kg max (22 pounds) only in my last one, the first one I was carrying extra so ended up not gaining any weight. My girls were both over 8 pounds.
I BF both of my girls for 18m each and my boobs are lovely when I'm carrying some extra weight - not so lovely when I'm skinny. Still perky either way. Pregnancy did this - as does age.
Enjoy your body honey - whatever age you are you'll look back to your body of 15 years prior and be astonished at how gorgeous it was. You can fast forward this process by loving the skin you are in right now.
My knees tremble whenever I remove my bra... they know what's coming
One man’s “fruitless conflict” is another man’s “meaningful discussion”
They're now almost 2 bra sizes bigger, but that's because they're LONGER, and when I hoist them up and put them in a bra, they take up more volume.
I always joke that I will make my first million by inventing a bra with a paper towel roller on the inside, so that I can just roll my breasts up before putting them in the bra.
Yes, be glad yours are still perky.
You could call it the "Madonna" model....
