AD changed my life. I am a much happier mother to my kids now.

That's what I'm hoping for....

Just know if this one doesn't work, there are other options. I'm proud of you for reaching out for help.

Give it two weeks to fully kick in.

Yeah...that's what the doctor said. I will definitely give it a girl scout chance and try to be patient! I know if it doesn't work that I have other options and I will try not to get discouraged. I know it can take a while to find the one that fits me just right....

Good luck Shelly!

I'm on prozac and it is a godsend. I want to send valentines to Eli Lilly. I still remember what it felt like a week after I started taking it: for the first time in six months, maybe longer, I recognized myself. I can't say enough good things about it. In my case I almost would call it a silver bullet.

I have been lucky, I guess (or not...depending on how you feel about being on the things). I hope the best for you, too. Keep us posted.

I didn't see my drugs listed here so thought i would post about. At first the pain in my neck was so bad it would shoot thru me head and i thought my left eye was going to pop out. Chiropractic treatments were not the answer, he said you some serious stress is all. It was my anger building up. Aspirin was the only thing ever my life before so I am pretty anti drug. Finally i went to my doc and told him the truth about what had happened in my life. He put me on Tramadol for the pain in my neck and Clonazepam for the triggers and anxiety attacks. It's widely used for PSTD as well which I can relate too. It soothed my fight or flight feelings and helped me to focus on daily activity. It helped me sleep which was a relief. I had already lost 40lbs which i didn't need to loose to start with. I take 1 each in the AM and PM. It took a couple weeks for the C to work it's magic. The T was instant relief. Without it the use of these I don't think i would have made it this far. 6 months later i am still on the meds and can tell when I have missed a dose.

Tie a knot and hang on!
