Can anyone advise me or have gone to court themselves for settlement does this usually amount to a lot of money or even WH dosnt show ? He will not cine to an agreement . He finally sent a message saying rent or sell ? If I'm moving . But then won't discuss it . It's driving me crazy - he contacted my solicitor by email telling them they had been ill informed regarding his address because I have everything go to his work address and gave them a shared PO box that is shared with the whore .

I don't have all your answers Giddy, but wanted to get this bumped back up for you since the weekends tend to be slower, and I didn't want it missed.

The part about them being ill informed on his address...well, I think he just confirmed that he got everything, even if it wasn't the "proper" address, because he's obviously seen it if he knows it was sent to those addresses! If he gave your solicitor a different address to use from here on in, then that part should be taken care of. If he didn't, well then, he's still confirming that he's getting the material.

Hopefully someone will be by soon that can help with the court part.

There is no way to predict legal costs.

The whole thing cost me a lot of money and we didn't even go to court. It cost me $50k to agree with him - he kept changing the terms of settlement and I kept responding, agreeing again only to have him change it again. Several times.

He was milking me dry on purpose. I ended up getting what I would have on a bad day in court but it cost be 4x what it needed to.

What does your L say? Do you have a mortgage? Is he paying anything towards that? If it goes into receivership it impacts him too. He is obligated to pay it too if he's on the mortgage. I wouldn't agree to selling/renting unless/until you come to an agreement about he rest. Would it be an option that might force his hand here?

Don't worry about his contact details - I would be worried if he thinks he's entitled to,rack up legal costs for you by constantly contacting your L. He needs to have his L contact yours.

If you have children you need to contact the Child Support Agency and start that process. That isn't so,etching he agrees to - it is set. There's a calculator online.

Are you eligible for Legal Aid? Do they cover Family Law issues?

I may have reached a point where I'd piss on him if he was on fire.... eventually!!
